The Citizens Voice reported that Scranton and Wilkes Barre personal injury attorneys Melissa Scartelli and Peter Paul Olszewski, Jr., of Scartelli Olszewski, P.C., aided the family of John Glenn Popple in gaining a settlement for his wrongful death while in the care of a group home. Popple, who was autistic, bipolar and severely mentally disabled and required supervision at all times, choked to death after being left unattended. The family has established a foundation so money from the settlement may be used to care for others and improve their safety and quality of life.
