The firm filed a lawsuit on behalf of a 52-year-old chef who, while trying to park his car, was shot and killed by the police. Announcement of the civil rights lawsuit aired on every nightly news broadcast in Philadelphia that evening. In addition, AP, The New York Times, Washington Post, Fox News, and ABC News picked up the story. The next morning, KYW-AM ran the story seven times.
