Furia Rubel helped First Federal of Bucks County and First Savings Bank of Perkasie to develop and communicate their new brand as they unified to form Penn Community Bank. To position the new bank as the trusted, local, mutual financial organization in Bucks County, Furia Rubel conducted thorough research in order to develop and implement a strategy to emphasize community connections. The tactics included internal communications, community relations, media relations, branding and marketing. The multifaceted campaign resulted in 400% ROI and successful customer retention and acquisition for Penn Community Bank.

A total of 114 entries across 30 categories were judged independently by PRSA Oklahoma City. The 2016 awards program was held at Water Works in Philadelphia on Dec. 6 and hosted by comedian and star of off-Broadway show, One Funny Mother, Deena Blizzard.
