Law Firm Marketing Expert Gina Rubel Quoted in The American Lawyer Article About the Importance of Thought Leadership Quality
Founder and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, Gina F. Rubel, Esq., is quoted in a The American Lawyer by Dan Packel’s article, In a Landscape Flooded With Law Firms’ ‘Thought Leadership,’ Quantity Isn’t the Same as Quality.
According to research by U.K-based Passle, the Am Law 200 generated more than 70,000 pieces of online insight in 2020. We suspect that number is even larger since the report didn’t include podcasts and various other forms of content which skyrocketed last year.
Gina said, “Content did increase substantially during the pandemic because those same thought leaders weren’t at conferences and client offices and bar associations speaking directly, and their marketing departments encouraged them to provide thought leadership that was of value to their clients and prospects.”
During the interview, Gina also shared her perspective that clients want timely, relevant information that provides valuable insights. She said that GCs don’t want to hear what they already know – give them what they need to know and why.
