Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., a Bucks County public relations and marketing agency, is pleased to announce that President and CEO Gina F. Rubel, Esq. has been named the 2010 recipient of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce 21st Annual Patricia Clatch Outstanding Woman in Business Award. Rubel received the award at the Chamber’s Women in Business Annual Awards Dinner on June 3, 2010, at the Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, Pa. Robin L. Weissman, former Pennsylvania State Treasurer, national media correspondent, and a commissioner for the Delaware River Port Authority delivered a keynote address during the event.
The Outstanding Woman in Business Award was established in honor of the late Patricia Clatch, a successful businesswoman and public relations professional who served the Chamber for a decade and supported the endeavors of women to gain acceptance and recognition in the business world. The award is presented each year to a businesswoman who excels in her field and exhibits qualities such as persistence, presence, integrity, professionalism and the ability to overcome obstacles. Recipients are also noted role models who demonstrate compassion and commitment to the Bucks County community.

Also a 2010 recipient of The Legal Intelligencer’s Women Lawyers of Distinction Award, Rubel is known for being passionate about her home, heritage, community and business. In 2008, she was named one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business and a Philadelphia Business Journal Woman of Distinction. Since founding Furia Rubel Communications in 2002, Rubel has enjoyed developing the firm into a full-service, women-owned certified public relations and marketing agency. In 2008, Furia Rubel was recognized as one of the top 25 PR agencies in the Philadelphia region according to the Philadelphia Business Journal Book of Lists, and Women’s Enterprise Magazine named the agency one of the Top 300 Woman Business Enterprises (WBEs) in the United States.
