Known for his outstanding spirit, determination and nonstop drive, his humble and respectful attitude has inspired many students throughout his many years of training and teaching.
Master Melchiorre began training in 1973 in a traditional Japanese Martial Art known as Shotokan Karate, attaining the rank of Shodan. After 10 years, he took time off to complete law school and start his own business and personal injury law firm in Philadelphia (www.vnmlaw.com). In 1989, he returned to formal training. While already a Shotokan Black Belt, he received his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do in 1993. He currently holds the rank of Sah Dan (4th degree) Master Instructor and is certified.
