You are mentioned in our strategic plan!” The Communications Assessment and Plan has been great for us as a staff and is extremely valuable and has opened a lot of doors. I’ve pulled certain pieces out for the staff for them to implement. I’m interested in your input on the overall strategic plan. The board is meeting on Nov 5 to adopt the strategic plan. Byproduct of the pandemic is we were able to focus on what is important for our members including diversity, inclusion, fair housing and the issues that affect our communities. We’ve had a diversity committee for years but we’ve increased our efforts and added it to our strategic plan. I’ve been involved in many strategic plans over the years and this is the first where I really feel that the goals and tactics make sense. It’s not in the weeds, these are things that can be implemented and things that can pivot over time.”
