Ama Chhori
The Bucks County Herald featured a story about the Ama Chhori Foundation of Hope, a registered 501(c)(3) organization that educates and empowers women and girls in Nepal to reduce the cycle of poverty and social injustice. The organization was founded by Maria Santangelo, Executive Director of Pine Run Retirement Community, who fell in love with the country of Nepal while in the Peace Corps. Maria was also interviewed by PBS39 News Tonight about the organization.

At the time of broadcast, KYW reported that 40 lawsuits were filed in the state against organizations like the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts of America.
