Gina Rubel to Present at Philadelphia Bar Association 2021 Bench-Bar Conference
Law firm marketing and risk management expert Gina Rubel, will moderate Protecting Law Firm Data in the Post-COVID Environment at the 2021 Philadelphia Bar Association Bench-Bar Conference, to be held virtually on October 1, 2021. Rubel is the founder and co-chair of the association’s Law Firm Risk Management Committee. Presenting are Mark G. McCreary, partner and co-chair of Fox Rothschild LLP’s Privacy and Data Security Practice and Stephen Jones, Senior Director of Cyber Security at Dataprise.
Protecting Law Firm Data in the Post-COVID Environment will address the defense against high-tech threats such as ransomware and phishing attacks, as well as low-tech hazards such as misplaced or improperly discarded documents.
Rubel also founded Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. in 2002. Corporate and law firm leaders call on her for high-stakes public relations, reputation management, crisis planning, and incident response support including high-profile litigation media relations. Rubel has written two books on public relations for lawyers, launched a successful podcast, On Record PR, and has worked with clients in 28 states and five countries. She is a commentator for several media outlets including ALM/Law.com’s Mid-Market Report for which she writes regularly. She received her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.
