Penn Community Bank SVP and Director of Information Technology Joan Hafer has been nominated to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Information Technology Committee. The committee will serve as guidance to banks across the commonwealth for all things related to IT including, but not limited to cybersecurity, infrastructure and new expanding technology in the banking industry.
The Bucks County Courier Times announced that Rick Battaglia was recently hired and Josh Oravis recently promoted by Penn Community Bank as senior market leaders of the retail division, administering branch operations and propelling the organization’s growth and development.
The Intelligencer noted Penn Community Bank formed a Montgomery County Advisory Board to assist with strategy in the bank’s advancement into the area. With 23 branches in Bucks County, the bank entered Montgomery County by opening the Fairway branch in Abington last year.
