Becky Bergman brings more than two decades of experience in journalism, media relations, and strategic communications to Furia Rubel’s clients. She helps law firms, legal service providers, and corporate leaders build visibility and credibility through earned media and thoughtful storytelling.
As Director of Media Relations, Becky leads targeted PR campaigns that secure coverage in outlets such as Bloomberg Law, Law360, and ALM. She specializes in pitch strategy and thought-leadership content that positions clients as go-to sources in competitive markets, shaping business and legal topics into narratives that capture media interest and drive audience engagement.
Before joining Furia Rubel, Becky spent more than 20 years writing for national business media, including Time Inc. (Business 2.0 Magazine), American City Business Journals, and ICBA (Independent Banker), among others, where she developed a deep understanding of newsroom priorities and what drives a great story. That experience, combined with her passion for cultivating authentic relationships with journalists, clients, and colleagues, informs her collaborative approach to client strategy, rooted in empathy, clarity, and purpose.
Working closely with attorneys, executives, and marketing teams, Becky develops integrated media programs that elevate the firm’s profile, strengthen its reputation, and support business growth. She is known for her sharp editorial insights, process-driven strategy, and ability to align media efforts with measurable outcomes. She continuously monitors media coverage for opportunities and has a proven track record for securing placements in top-tier, national outlets.
Becky holds degrees in Journalism from San Francisco State University and in Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she graduated summa cum laude. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their adult son, and two rescue dogs. When she’s not at home by the pool with family and friends, she loves to travel, explore small towns, and blog about dogs.
