The Legal Intelligencer reported results of recent elections of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry attorneys Matthew S. Olesh was elected assistant treasurer of the Board of Governors and Jennifer Weidler Karpchuk was appointed as secretary of the Tax Section’s Ttate and Local Tax Committee for the Philadelphia Bar Association.

As chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Olesh’s article probes how members can impact the YLD.

The Legal Intelligencer announced that Jacobs Law Group has added attorney Joseph M. Profy to the firm. Profy has more than two decades of experience in complex corporate, commercial and shareholder matters as well as litigation.
Neal Jacobs of Jacobs Law Group presented a CLE for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Bench Bar program in Atlantic City. The presentation entitled, “Business Divorce: Get the Clients, Not the Goldfish,” discussed the practice area devoted to resolving intra-company owner disputes.

The Philadelphia Psychiatric Society has bestowed the Benjamin Rush Award to Joseph Foderaro of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery. The award is given to a non-psychiatrist for recognition of their exceptional work in the field.

The Bucks County Courier Times noted that Family Service Association of Bucks County has honored Penn Community Bank as the Corporate Citizen of the Year.
The Pennsylvania Patch noted that Bruce Iacobucci, former president (retired) of First Federal of Bucks County prior to their unification with First Savings Bank of Perkasie to form Penn Community Bank, has been named to the board of directors for Penn Community Bank.

The Portland Tribune has recently announced the best places to work for LGBTQ equality for employees and Stoel Rives LLP, one of only six other companies in the Portland area, has received 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2018 Corporate Equality Index.
