Furia Rubel, a Doylestown, Pa. marketing, public relations and crisis management agency, celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012 with a “10 for 10” Community Service Campaign. To commemorate the anniversary milestone and celebrate corporate citizenship, Furia Rubel developed the campaign as a way of giving back to the communities in which its employees live and work.
“Ten years ago, I started Furia Rubel because I believed we could make a difference in the world. I am so proud of what the agency has become – from the strategic and successful work that we provide to each one of our clients to the camaraderie and philanthropic spirit that all of our employees share,” said the company founder and CEO, Gina F. Rubel, Esq. “Our anniversary celebration is about giving back and saying thank you in a unique way.”
Furia Rubel kicked off its “10 for 10” campaign with a free, community-focused self-defense event titled Safety for Women Awareness Tactics (SWAT), which will be led by Master Vince Melchiorre at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Doylestown.
Other “10 for 10” efforts that the strategic marketing and PR agency supported in 2012 include providing pro bono public relations services in support of the United Way of Bucks County Women’s Initiative Power of the Purse event; teaming up with Bucks County Housing Group to host a networking and summer food drive kickoff event; working with Doylestown Township to spearhead and participate in an Adopt-A-Road Program; serving as the Italian-American community liaison for the James A. Michener Art Museum’s Offering of the Angels: Treasures from the Uffizi Museum Exhibit and the “Night at the Uffizi” gala; providing strategic planning support and participation in Deep Run Mennonite Church East’s Strides for Mission 5K; and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia.
In 2002, Furia Rubel launched with a niche in legal public relations. Since then, the firm has expanded exponentially, merging with a Philadelphia regional marketing agency to provide integrated strategic planning, marketing, media relations and crisis management services.
The full-service agency works with a variety of professional service firms, nonprofit organizations and financial and health care companies – while continuing its niche work in legal marketing.
Furia Rubel is committed to supporting up to three pro bono clients each year. The agency serves Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program (Philly VIP) and the Philadelphia Bar Foundation with its pro bono marketing and public relations services.
An award-winning integrated communications agency in the Philadelphia region, Furia Rubel has been honored and recognized as a Philadelphia Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award winner since the award’s inception in 2008.
