Katie has an unrelenting drive and a desire to achieve exceptional results for Furia Rubel clients. As account coordinator, she provides account support for several clients including Elephant’s Eye Studio Tour, Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock & Dodig LLP, Scartelli, Distasio & Kowalski, P.C. and Bencardino Excavating, to name a few.

Katie first joined Furia Rubel in 2006 as a public relations intern and was quickly captivated by the fast-paced, open and collaborative environment of the PR agency. During her second day on the job, she helped facilitate a press conference for the Bucks County Covered Bridges Festival, which included members of print and broadcast media, local politicians and business owners. After graduating from American University in Washington, D.C., Katie rejoined Furia Rubel as account coordinator – her current position with the company.

As an undergraduate, Katie interned on Capitol Hill where she gained public policy experience in the areas of immigration, ethics reform and healthcare. She also served as co-chairperson for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital “Up Till Dawn” fundraiser which raised over $15,000 dollars for the hospital, and was actively involved in many organizations, including Delta Gamma Fraternity and the Pan-Hellenic Association for which she served as president. During her junior year, Katie studied abroad in Italy where she immersed herself in Italian culture and studied international politics. After graduation, she spent 3 months volunteering in Costa Rica at an orphanage where she taught English.

Katie currently resides in Bucks County. She enjoys traveling, politics, blogging, cheering for the Phillies and spending time with friends and family.
