Furia Rubel and Doylestown Township Defend Limekiln Pike Against Litterers
On Oct. 10, Doylestown-based Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. hit the road to help keep Bucks County beautiful by once again coordinating a roadside litter cleanup. The integrated marketing and public relations agency adopted the road upon which their office sits after working with Doylestown Township to create a local adopt-a-road program. The agency had a police escort from Doylestown Township Police Department to ensure the safety of the cleanup on the heavily trafficked road.
Furia Rubel originally developed the adopt-a-road program to celebrate its tenth year in business. It was the first of 10 community-service initiatives the firm spearheaded that year. Furia Rubel’s continued hope for this program is not only to give back to the community and improve the environment, but also to raise awareness about how others can contribute to making their own neighborhoods nicer places to live and work.
