Bucks County Bar Association Women Lawyers Division Hosts Public Relations Strategies for Lawyers CLE Presented by Gina RubelAuthor, lawyer and publicist, Gina Rubel, Esq. presented a continuing legal education (CLE) program on “Distinguishing Yourself in the Practice of Law through Everyday Public Relations” for the Bucks County Bar Association Women Lawyers Division. The program was held at the Bucks County Bar Association building on 135 East State Street in Doylestown, Pa from 4:00-5:00 pm. The CLE cost $30 for BCBA Members and $45 for non-members. A wine and cheese networking event immediately followed the program.
President and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications (www.furiarubel.com), a public relations and marketing agency located in Doylestown, Pa., Rubel is the author of Everyday Public Relations for Lawyers. In her book and in this presentation, Rubel addresses how law firms and attorneys can use PR tactics to reach their target markets.
This one-credit CLE explored how attorneys can communicate a personal brand, build a niche, expand their networks, talk to the media, and grow their businesses while not running afoul of the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct, which govern these communications.
