Laura Powers Named 'Emerging Leader' by Bucks County Organizations
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 2016) – Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., an award-winning, integrated marketing and public relations agency, is pleased to announce that Chief Marketing Officer Laura Powers has been named a 2016 Emerging Leader in Bucks & Eastern Montgomery Counties. In addition to her responsibilities at Furia Rubel, Powers gives back to the community in many ways, including serving as a board member for Tabor Children’s Services and on committees for the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and the Kalmia Club. She is a founding member of the Women’s Business Forum and represents Furia Rubel as a board member of the Legal Marketing Association, Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter.
Formerly known as “40 under 40,” the Emerging Leaders program is a new honor from local newspapers the Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer. With the help of the Central Bucks Family YMCA, the newspapers chose promising leaders from local businesses and organizations in Bucks or Montgomery Counties who demonstrate high value to their employers and are community minded. Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony Oct. 7 and in a special commemorative section of the newspapers available online and in print on Oct. 9.
