Program Description: As Internet marketing has matured, so too have law firm websites - which should be used to generate leads and build relationships. With the right tools in place, firms can put their websites to work as a partner in new business development rather than an underperforming piece of Internet real estate. The key is in the organization, development, promotion and functionality of the design both to the end user and the website administrative team.
This program covers niche marketing strategies, client-centric content and the elements that make a well-developed site. We will also discuss how to employ appropriate tactics to help target audiences find a firm’s site. These types of tactics include: optimizing for local search, engaging in email campaigns, strategic public relations, leveraging directory listings, strategic social media and more.
Law firm websites should be consistently evaluated to make sure that the content and structure is properly aligned with target audience needs. In tandem with new business tracking procedures (or a CRM system), metrics such as web analytics and email marketing campaign reports can measure success and return on various initiatives. With the right strategies in play, over time, law firms will see how their website can generate qualified new business leads ethically and effectively.
