The women of Furia Rubel team are my 'Twilight Angels.' They helped me launch the Foundation and within two weeks, we had a two-page spread in Family Circle. From that one article, we were able to launch five additional chapters and we have interested organizers in all fifty states and Canada, India, Italy and Bulgaria. Montgomery Mall

Santa Parade and Black Friday Shopping

Montgomery Mall is a super-regional mall situated in Montgomery County, Pa. With more than 150 specialty retailers including Hollister, Gap and Anne Taylor Loft, the mall is anchored by notable department stores JCPenney, Macy’s, Sears and Boscov’s. Montgomery Mall is located at the intersection of Routes 202 and 309 in North Wales, Pa.
 
Furia Rubel serves as Montgomery Mall’s public relations agency of record, working closely with the mall’s in-house marketing team. During the 2007 holiday season, the mall charged Furia Rubel with the task of creating a buzz around two exciting holiday events: a Santa Parade and Black Friday.
 
The Furia Rubel team helped secure Don Polec of ABC 6’s Don Polec’s World to ride with Santa atop a fire truck and sign autographs during the Santa Parade on November 9, 2007. The firm’s public relations specialists also helped the Santa Parade garner significant media attention by compiling and preparing media materials such as press releases and calendar listings, and conducting direct media pitching, among other proven public relations strategies. Furia Rubel’s efforts resulted in extensive print, television, radio and online coverage by such media outlets as CBS 3, ABC 6, NBC 10, KYW NewsRadio 1060, B101 Radio Station, The Intelligencer, The Reporter, the Bucks County Herald, the Times Herald, B101 Online, Phillyscene.com, Philly.com, CBS 3 Online and many more.
 
In anticipation of Black Friday, Furia Rubel helped the mall entice shoppers to take advantage of its stores’ many offerings by publicizing special sales and store opening times. Furia Rubel specialists and mall representatives also developed a “Black Friday Shopping Survival Guide” that was printed in local newspapers, and secured media coverage of a “Black Friday Survival Kit.” Shoppers were reminded to stay hydrated, tote snacks and shopping lists, wear comfortable shoes and plan a productive itinerary in advance of the busiest shopping day of the year. The Reporter, the Times Herald, North Penn Life, NBC 10, Phillyburbs.com, NBC 10 Online and The Reporter Online featured Montgomery Mall in their Black Friday coverage.

Furia Rubel’s efforts helped Montgomery Mall secure more than 15.1 million media impressions surrounding the Santa Parade and Black Friday. This coverage was valued at approximately $48,000. Furia Rubel looks forward to continuing its successful work with Montgomery Mall.
