
Leah Ludwig serves as Account Director for Furia Rubel. Having joined the agency in 2005, Leah is a managing liaison between various clients and the Furia Rubel public relations and marketing teams.
With a healthy obsession for achieving outstanding results, Leah handles client relations, strategic planning, account management, media relations, message evaluation, tracking and measurement, corporate social responsibility programs, and social media engagement. She adds fresh perspective, insight, energy and enthusiasm to the agency, and more importantly, strategizes and executes programs flawlessly on behalf of clients. Leah truly understands that at the end of the day, what matters to Furia Rubel’s clients is delivering solid results.
When it comes to media relations, Leah has a knack for identifying strong news hooks and getting great coverage. She works tirelessly with the press to generate targeted and effective stories while raising the brand profile and awareness for Furia Rubel clients.
A valued part of the Furia Rubel team and one who is passionate about giving back to the community, Leah has put her energy and management skills into many nonprofit programs. She has overseen the Hepatitis B Foundation’s Believe in the Cure Cycling Tour, a program involving a teenager living with hepatitis B who rode his bike from Pensacola, Fla., to Philadelphia to raise money and awareness. She designed, organized and executed the National Kidney Foundation Serving the Delaware Valley’s High Heels for High Hopes annual fundraiser three years in a row. She oversees the public relations outreach efforts for GlaxoSmithKline’s IMPACT Awards in Philadelphia which grants hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofits that provide access to health care.
Leah handles strategic planning, online communications and media relations for Citrin Cooperman; Feldman Shepherd; Hepatitis B Foundation; Peacock Keller; Scartelli Olszewski, P.C.; Williams & Hand, P.C.; and Willig, Williams & Davidson.
She also oversees the agency’s several pro bono nonprofit accounts – one of which is Deep Run Mennonite Church East, their missions programs and the Strides for Mission 5K run. In fact, Leah has spent several weeks in Honduras on mission trips with the church helping to care for malnourished children and families.
Leah is a Hepatitis B Foundation 2012 Crystal Ball Committee member and serves as chair of her church's Mission Commission. She is a member of the Women's Business Forum of Bucks County, Public Relations Society of America and the Philadelphia Public Relations Association, where she previously served on the Publicity Committee. She graduated from Susquehanna University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in public relations.
In her spare time, Leah enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She resides with her husband and dog, Bella, in Bucks County, Pa.
