The most important phone call I made during the planning of the Bucks County Covered Bridges Festival was to Furia Rubel. Their plan was meticulously formulated and implemented in a logical, step-by-step process. Their expertise, professionalism, attention to detail and media contacts have been instrumental in making the event a huge success. Perhaps just as important, their dedication, willingness to "get involved" and enthusiasm for my event have impressed me greatly.

Heather Truitt - Senior Graphic Designer
Growing up in a small, rural town in Connecticut, Heather Truitt never quite knew how to answer the question every adult seems to ask of children: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” She finally found her answer – and her passion – in an Intro to Graphic Design class in high school. She was smitten.
That class opened her eyes to the world of design, and she loved everything about it – the way that one shade of blue perfectly complements a logo, the way a sleek sans serif typeface conveys a hip, modern vibe while a serif font adds a retro feel. One of her first design projects was an invitation for her sister-in-law’s baby shower; the teacher kept it as an example of good design to which other students should aspire.
A visit to New York City for a concert a few weeks after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, convinced Heather that she needed to experience the pulse of life in a city. That led her to move to the City of Brotherly Love to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
Heather explored her love of design while in college – and while in libraries, book stores, museums, and more - and after graduating, put those skills to work immediately for HG Marketing Group, a boutique agency based in Doylestown, Pa. then owned by Laura Powers, who is now Furia Rubel’s Chief Marketing Officer. After several years working at large marketing agencies, Heather has come full circle and rejoined Powers at Furia Rubel, where she is excited to work on behalf of the agency’s professional services clients.
Heather lives in Chalfont, in Bucks County, Pa., with her young son and husband. Together with her husband, she spends her spare time selling vintage video games and planning a video game convention held every year in June. When not at work, she and her husband enjoy going to concerts and traveling.
